On September 30th, a traffic-opening ceremony was held at the entrance of Concord University College for Xuefu Nan Road underpass, which was completed after one year’s construction. Vice President Zheng Jiajian spoke on behalf of Fujian Normal University. Present at the ceremony were also administrators from Fuzhou High-tech Zone, Construction Bureau of Fuzhou City, Fuzhou Urban Construction Investment Group, Fujian Normal University and Concord University College.

With vehicles running through the bypass and students crossing over the road, the pedestrian zone above the bypass extends to become a beautiful square (over 6,000 m²) connecting the two sides of campus. The pedestrian zone are lined with tabebuia chrysanthas while green areas are decorated with dragon trees, colorful millennium woods, kinson privet balls and ixora chinensis, composing a fantastic landscape at the East Gate of Concord University College.
