At 10:00 a.m. on October 16, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) opened in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered a report to the National Congress on behalf of the 19th CPC Central Committee. CPC party members and cadres among teachers and students watched the opening session in various venues through live television or internet broadcasting (thus avoiding large-scale gathering according to covid-19 prevention and control regulations).

The faculty and students of CUC has been paying close attention to the 20th National Congress of CPC and carefully listened to Xi’s speech. After the session, they had an in-depth study and discussion of Xi’s report.  

The CPC Party Committee of CUC FNU encourages all of the faculties and students to have a profound learning of the report, hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese Characteristics,  fully implement the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and carry forward the great founding spirit of the Party so as to cultivate more talents and contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
